Research Sectors

RLSS consists of two research sectors: Thin film and Surface Physics section and Film Powders and Surface Chemistry section. In Thin film and Surface Physics section, synthesis of functional materials, like superconductive thin films and photocatalitic films, and electronic structrure studies for understanding the origin and mechanism of the functionality are made. In Film Powders and Surface Chemistry section, studies on nano-scale organic based electronic devices and on catalysis properties of nano particle oxides materials are performed. In addition, researches in RLSS with close collaboration develops new superconductive materials.
